The Alamo Lake Off-Road Map is the definitive off-road guide to explore the area. Alamo Lake is about 2 hours west of Phoenix in Wenden, AZ. It’s a great destination for off-roading, camping, boating, kayaking, fishing, wildlife viewing, stargazing, and hiking. Alamo Lake is a prime location on the Arizona Peace Trail. The Guide features:  220 miles of roads & trails, points-of-interest, and camping information. There is an improved campground created by and operated by Arizona State Parks and Trails. The RV campsites have water, electricity, and direct access to OHV trails. There are also group camping areas, tent campsites, rental camping cabins, a camp store, and boat launch ramps. Wayside is a commercial site near the State Park with camping, fuel, store, restaurant, and bar. Unique points-of-interest include Maggie Wash slot canyon, an old schoolhouse, historic homesteads, old mining sites, natural arches, a high-walled mud canyon, a sandstone canyon, scenic overlooks, unique riparian areas, historic graveyards, wild burros, river crossings, and more. This 16” x 18” map covers 210 square miles and is available on printed on synthetic paper, making it waterproof and tear resistant.

The map can be downloaded for a nominal fee into the Free GPS navigational program, “Avenza Maps” app. This permits the user to use a cellphone, or tablet, to have full off-road navigation capability (cell service not required off-road) including recording and transferring tracks and other trail statistics.
