Off-road driving is an exciting outdoor sport that comes with an element of risk—just like skiing, rafting, or mountain biking. While it isn’t considered dangerous, no reputable outfitter should claim it’s completely risk-free. The backcountry’s natural and unpredictable elements are part of what makes the experience so thrilling.

Your safety depends most on how vehicles are operated. That’s why speed on National Forest trails is limited to 20 miles per hour. We also provide well-maintained vehicles, helmets, and eye protection to keep your adventure as safe as possible.

Group Support Requirements

To qualify for Group Support, your group must rent 5 or more vehicles and call our store to complete the booking. A 10% gratuity is required (20% is recommended).

Quick Details

• Included: Helmets, goggles, fuel, vehicle cleaning

• Deposit: 50% down at booking; full payment due 2 weeks prior

• Cancellation: Refund available if canceled 3+ weeks before booking date

• Group Coordination: 1–2 coordinators required per group

• Gratuity: 10% minimum required; 20% recommended

• Arrival Time: Arrive 1 hour early to select gear, sign waivers, review instructions, and use facilities. Ride time begins promptly at the rental time. Late arrivals cannot join.

• Waivers: All participants must complete waivers and safety video at least 1 day before the adventure

• Transportation: Groups must provide their own transportation to the start location

• Guide: Guides are recommended—and may be required—for safety and risk management

Rental Requirements

Polaris Off-Road Vehicles (UTVs)

• Drivers must have a valid driver’s license

• Generals & RZR (2 & 4 Seat): 21+ to rent, 18+ to drive (drivers ages 18–20 must be accompanied by someone 21+)

• Ranger (6 Seat): 25+ to rent and drive

• Passengers must be 4+ years old

Polaris Slingshot

• Drivers must be 25+ with a valid driver’s license

• Passengers must be 7+ years old (final approval at the discretion of GOA staff)

General Policies

• Service will be refused to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol prior to or during any activity. Payments will be forfeited.

• A healthy fitness level is recommended for safe participation.

If you opt-in to receive our Group Support, then YES! There is an opportunity to do 50% down and complete the full payment 2 weeks prior to the booking. 

A security depost may be required and is determied on a case by case basis.

For your safety and to limit risks guides are recommended or may be require.

Please arrive 1 hour before your scheduled start time.

During check-in, participants will:

• Select helmets and goggles

• Sign waivers

• Review safety instructions

• Use the facilities

Important: Ride time begins promptly at your rental time. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

Waivers & Documentation

• All participants must complete a waiver and watch the safety video at least 1 day before the adventure. Waivers are sent electronically.

• Drivers: Bring a valid driver’s license.

• Jeep drivers only: Bring your driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Groups must provide their own transportation to the start location.

Refund will be provided if the group's booking is canceled 3 weeks or more before the booking date.
